If we find something outside your plan—extra rentals, businesses, K-1s, crypto, etc.—we’ll send a quick quote before continuing. You’ll always know before any extra charge is billed. Transparency first, no surprises later.

Because good work takes planning. When you drop documents on April 10, you’re asking for an emergency. Our March 15 deadline protects everyone: it gives time for review, corrections, and communication. Miss it, and your return goes on extension—no exceptions.

Only if there’s room—and they’re billed higher. Rush work means reshuffling other clients and long nights & missed time with family & kids! Add +25% if you come in within 7 days of the filing deadline and +50% if within 72 hours. Still cheaper than a penalty notice from the IRS.

That’s fine. There are plenty of preparers who can help. Our focus is on quality, accuracy, and client fit—not being the cheapest option in town. If you value clear communication and work done by a licensed CPA, we’re worth it.

We handle both, but each is scoped separately. Business filings (LLCs, S Corps, partnerships) have their own engagement and pricing. If you own a business and you need us to do your accounting or QuickBooks clean up, then we’ll quote you once we review your setup and books.

If the notice relates to a return we prepared, we’ll review it. Simple clarification letters are covered by a small fixed fee. Anything that needs research or representation is billed hourly or quoted separately. We’ll tell you which it is upfront.
